Trip Information

Annapurna Circuit is one of the most famous trekking routes in Nepal. The trail traverses a variety of terrain and explores the rich cultural and natural diversity of the Annapurna region. The trek offers an amazing view of the Annapurna, Macchapuchre, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and Langtang Himal.
Despite the controversy over continuing road construction, Annapurna Circuit Trek is still one of Nepal’s greatest treks. The trek offers ample of cultural and natural beauty to awe-inspire any visitors in the region.
The trail allows a gentler acclimatization process as it traverses the variety of landscapes from jungle to high alpine, lush valley and up to arid peaks passing through hospitable villages through the world’s deepest gorge.
The trek usually takes about 15–20 days, leaving from Kathmandu with a stopover in Pokhara before returning to the capital. The trail is moderate to fairly challenging and makes numerous river crossings over steel and a wooden bridge. Tea houses and lodges along the circuit are available for meals and accommodations.

Itinerary
Day 01 - From Kathmandu, travel west to Besisahar [820m/2690 ft] via private vehicle or public bus, taking six to seven hours. Day 02 – Start trek from Besisahar to Khudi [790m/2592 ft] Day 03 – Trek from Khudi to Bahundanda [1310m/4298 ft] Day 04 - Trek from Bahundanda to Jagat [1290m/4232 ft] Day 05 - Trek from Jagat to Dharapani [1920m/6299 ft] Day 06 - Trek from Dharapani to Chame [2630m/8629 ft] Day 07 – Trek from Chame to Pisang [3190m/10466 ft] Day 08 – Trek from Pisang to Manang [3520m/11549 ft] Day 09 - Rest day in Manang [3520m/11549 ft] Day 10 - Trek from Manang to Letdar [4250m/13944 ft] Day 11 - Trek from Letdar to Thorung Phedi [4500m/14764 ft] Day 12 – Trek from Thorung phedi to Muktinath [3800m/12467 ft], crossing the Thorung La en route Day 13- From Muktinath to Kagbeni [2800m] Day 14 - Trek from Kagbeni to Marpha [2665m/8743 ft] Day 15- Trek from Marpha to Ghasa[2000m] Day 16 - Trek from Ghasa to Tatopani [1160m/3806 ft] Day 17 - Trek from Tatopani to Ghorepani [2775m/9104 ft] Day 18- Trek from Ghorepani to Birethanti [1050m/3445 ft] and travel to Pokhara. Day 19 – Sightseeing in Pokhara, Relaxation and stay over a night in Pokhara. Day 20 – Travel back to Kathmandu [1400m/4593 ft].
